Has anyone else seen much It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? If so, do you remember their lawyer who tends to show up quite often? Well, he grew up right near where I did. Brian Unger was born in Granville, Ohio, which is right next door to my hometown.

He graduated from the Ohio University in Athens and began a career that is just continually growing. Unger began his work in the public eye with an internship with Davd Letterman and then became a producer for a medical television program. After this, he became a producer for the television show hosted by Maury Povich.

Fast forward a few other jobs and Unger began work on helping to create the Daily Show. Not only did he work as a correspondent on the show, he was also a producer. He has been a repeat reporter for NPR, as well.

More recently Unger has been making cameos on It's Always Sunny and he actually hosted his own television show called How the States Got Their Shapes. The Daily Show is such a famous and well known show now, it is pretty cool to think about how one of those creators used to live and frequent the places near where I grew up.
